Description
Ground up restoration in USA 2020, just been fitted with zero hour Covington engine
The aircraft was built in 1942 as an SNJ 3 ,but subsequently issued to the USAAF and shipped to England.
Post war it was donated to Paraguay before returning to the USA in 1989 with 3400 hours total time.
Put into storage, then had a ground up restoration by Dauntless Aero Marine in Florida ,including new fabric and bare metal respray ,completed in 2020.
Purchased in 2020 by Navy Wings OY and shipped to Finland.
Propeller approx 30 hours since overhaul in 2020
Steerable tailwheel.
Cleveland disc brakes.
